Nader Ben Aissa

Nader completed a joint article with the firm in 2014 and was welcomed as an associate in early 2015. Nader practices primarily in the area of corporate and commercial law, focusing on corporate structuring, financing (debt and equity), business acquisitions and divestitures, commercial and residential real estate, commercial leasing, commercial drafting, business succession planning, and estate and trust planning.

Nader has appeared before the Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta, the Provincial Court of Alberta, and the City of Calgary Subdivision Development Appeal Board.

As a law student, Nader worked with several public and private institutions, including the B.C. Real Estate Association and the University of British Columbia Sauder School of Business (Real Estate Division), on a variety of law-related projects. While living in Vancouver, Nader was also actively involved in his community as a volunteer with Access Pro Bono and Legal Education Outreach. Now that he calls Calgary home, Nader looks forward to engaging his young family in similar community activities in Alberta.
